Explosives Detection

Eric is now working as an explosives detection
dog for the Penobscot County Sheriff's
Office with his new handler Deputy Jim Roy. He is also, in a joint effort,
working as an EDD at the 101st Air Refueling Wing of the Bangor Air National Guard with
Jim who is also a Tech Sergeant in the Air Guard.
Eric is a very
high drive, athletic young dog. We have only just started his training and he is
showing great enthusiasm and excellent work ethic.
He has high prey drive, good defense/fight, is good socially, yet aloof with
strangers, and is
environmentally stable. He is showing great promise in tracking and scent work
and we are expecting him to pass his tracking certification and receive his
titles with no problems at all. Even though he is neutered his lineage shows the
potential that this young male possesses. Eric is the grandson of both Art z Lipin ZM, ZVV1, ZPS1, IPO3, SchH3, multi time worlds participant, and Tom z

OP1, ZVV2, ZPS, working Czech police dog. His great grandsire is Arys z
Travnickova dvora - grandsire to the famous Dargo Ha-Ja-Da ZVV3, IPO3, SchH3,
ZPS1 and winner of the 2001 International Stud Dog Show in Bratislava, all
before the age of 3yrs!
We are looking
forward to the training of this dog as he is already proving himself be to an
exceptionally fun dog to work.
